Current News:

* If you've got a script or a theme that you'd like put on the QuIRC page,
  please send it to me with either an accompanying text file description if
  it's a script tarball or tcl, or a screenshot if it's a theme.

* Scriptics has released Tcl/Tk 8.2b1 which contains the necessary features to
  properly combine the Tcl and GTK+ event loops.  Thanks to everyone who wrote
  in about this. :)

* I'm currently considering how to implement having multiple windows visible at
  the same time.  If you have any ideas, or would like to add your "vote" to
  one of the designs I have, please come talk to me on #QuIRC (irc.dal.net).

* If you haven't voted for GTK+ vs Tcl, please do so.  As well, the feature/bug
  votes system does not seem to be getting many votes.  Please let me know
  where you would like development to go from here.  Both of these can be found
  at http://quirc.org/.

* I am looking for ops on #QuIRC (irc.dal.net) at the present time, so if you
  wish to become one, come hang out there.  Ops will be selected based on
  knowledge of QuIRC, frequency of attendence, and attitude.

* If you notice anything that needs changed in the server list, please let me
  know and I'll do so.

Old News:

* I have been working slowly on GTK+ bindings for TCL, but I have run into a
  bit of trouble. There is a feature missing from TCL that is needed to
  implement the bindings properly. I would appreciate it if you would take the
  time to contact Scriptics about it using the information given at
  http://quirc.org/scriptics.html.  It only takes a couple minutes to do, and
  it would be quite helpful to me, and other developers that use Tcl.
